# Erratum to EVIDENTIARY_STANDARD_v1.1.md

**Issued 2026-08-24. The rulebook text is preserved verbatim and is not edited; this
notice travels with it.**

The rulebook's worked example states that Ronald Tijerina's age cell is blank and that
"those blanks are correct." That was true when written and is no longer: on 2026-08-22
the Laredo Morning Times yielded an exact date of birth, independently matching the
baseball-register date the standard had earlier (correctly) refused on its own. The
roster carries age 52, basis "exact DOB", and the Source Log holds the superseding row.

The rule the example illustrates is unchanged and the episode strengthens it: the
discipline delayed the fact rather than costing it. What went stale is the published
snapshot of which cells were blank — a reminder that a frozen rulebook may cite live
data only as "as of" its issue date.
